About Me ~ The Web Explorer

I am a fifth grade teacher and mother of 6, (Yes! 6! 4 boys, ages 21, 20, 19, 17, and 2 girls, ages 18 and 12). I completed my Master’s In Education and Technology at Lourdes College. When I am not busy teaching, learning, or chasing my kids around, I read and play on the computer. Did I say play? I meant work! My husband and I also have two lovable chocolate labs, (Mom and her first born daughter). My wonderful mother, (What would I ever do without her?) lives with us and I secretly think she has a better grip on our household than dad or I.

    Cheryl,

As an Art & Digital Media teacher, I am very interested in helping my students make global connections. I just don’t know how to get started.

Also, I have one Digital Media class which produces a daily morning tv broadcast which we also send out as a podcast. I struggle to find better ways to organize this and would love to hear how you manage this with your students.

    Eager for suggestions and ideas!!!

I’m a friend and colleague of Otto. He has described you as someone who really knows this stuff. You have an interesting blog. How long have you been working on your your web knowledge?
23 Things is my first foray into this on my own, although I did see Warlick @ the ISD last year.
